How to choose
- Motor power and current. Size the drive for rated output current, with margin for overload duty.
- Supply voltage and phase: single-phase 200 to 240 V or three-phase 380 to 500 V and above.
- Application type: machine, pump and fan, or process drive.
- Enclosure and mounting: IP20 book mount, wall mount or IP55.
- Fieldbus: PROFINET, Modbus, EtherNet/IP. Check EMC filter and reactor needs under IEC 61800-3.
FAQ
Can a drive run a single-phase motor?
Drives normally output three-phase. Many accept single-phase input, but the motor must be three-phase unless the drive is specified for single-phase output.
Do I need a line reactor or an EMC filter?
A line reactor reduces harmonics and protects against weak supplies. An EMC filter limits radio-frequency emissions to meet IEC 61800-3 limits. Many drives include a filter.
Do you export VFDs outside Turkey?
