How to choose

• Lead style: short or standard, with or without microswitch.

FAQ

What is a TPMOV?

It is a metal oxide varistor with a built-in thermal disconnect. If the MOV overheats at end of life, the disconnect opens the circuit.

Can I replace a TPMOV in a complete SPD?

Only with the part the SPD manufacturer specifies. Voltage rating and size must match.
