Schneider Electric XVUC27 Harmony XVU LED Unit White 60 mm Steady 24 V AC/DC Signal Tower

The Schneider Electric XVUC27 is a Harmony XVU modular LED indicator unit in white, supplying a steady light signal at 24 V AC/DC for stacking onto an XVU base unit. Rated IP65 and consuming ≤ 50 mA, it is used on automotive, packaging and machine-tool lines to give a clear, single-colour run or fault indication.

Selection Notes

The white lens on the XVUC27 draws ≤ 50 mA at 2.5 W maximum dissipation, in line with the other single-colour steady units in the XVU range; swap in a different XVUC2x part number for a different colour without changing the base unit or wiring. Up to 5 of these LED units can be stacked on one base, or 4 if a buzzer unit is added to the same tower, so plan the colour sequence (bottom to top usually follows red/amber/green priority) before ordering the stack. Because every colour in the range shares the same 60 mm diameter, 24 V AC/DC supply and IP65 housing, the XVUC27 can be swapped into an existing stack for a maintenance replacement without re-checking fit, wiring gauge or environmental rating against the rest of the assembly.

Applications

Steady-light XVU indicator units are used where a single, unambiguous colour is enough to communicate machine state — for example a dedicated green run light on a packaging line — as opposed to the XVUC29 multi-colour unit, which covers several states from one lens. Choosing a colour here is purely a lens swap — the base unit, wiring and mounting hardware are identical across the whole XVUC2x range.
