Selection Notes
The XVUC9V's 20 Hz–20 kHz range and adjustable vocal sound output cover recorded voice messages and tonal alarms that the fixed 2635 Hz XVUC9S buzzer cannot reproduce, at the cost of roughly 3x the power draw and a dedicated AC/DC adapter housed in the unit. Its dual-voltage input (24 V AC/DC or 100…240 V AC) lets the same part number serve both low-voltage control panels and mains-fed installations, which the single-voltage XVUC9S and XVUC9SQ buzzers do not offer. Its 155 mm length is roughly 2.5x the 58 mm buzzer bodies, so confirm there is room in the stack and mounting tube before specifying it.
Applications
The XVUC9V suits lines that already use recorded voice messages or distinct tonal alarms for different fault states, and sites where the same tower design is reused on both 24 V control-panel machines and mains-fed standalone equipment, thanks to its dual-voltage input.
