Selection Notes

The XVS10BMW draws its 300 mA at 24 V / 500 mA at 12 V from a 12...24 V AC/DC source, so check available control-circuit headroom before adding it alongside other 24 V or mains-fed signaling devices on the same panel feed. At 106 dB and 1 m, it is loud enough to carry over typical shop-floor machine noise, which is why Schneider positions this unit for conveyors and truck-mounted alerts rather than quiet office or laboratory environments. IP53 protects against dust ingress and light splashing, not direct wash-down — for pressure-washed areas pair it with an IP66-rated enclosure or choose a higher-IP beacon instead.

Applications

Harmony XVS sirens are specified for long-distance indication of machine operating status on conveyor belts, automated industrial trucks and the doors of electrical control panels, anywhere a flashing light alone would be missed by an operator working with their back turned or in a noisy, visually cluttered area.
