Selection Notes
XVB7C31 uses an A-coded M12 connector instead of screw or spring terminals, which trades a small amount of wiring flexibility for faster installation and replacement. Its IO-Link v1.1 interface lets the controller read module status over the same cable that supplies power, instead of wiring a separate discrete output. Pick the terminal-block base instead when the application already runs flying-lead cable to the tower light location.
