The Schneider Electric METSEPM5310 is a PowerLogic PM5310 flush-mount power meter, measuring energy, active and reactive power, voltage, current, frequency, power factor, and harmonics up to the 31st order with Class 0.5S accuracy to IEC 62053-22. It reads out on a 96 x 96 mm monochrome graphic LCD, communicates over RS485 using Modbus RTU and ASCII, and provides 2 configurable digital inputs/outputs, 256 kB of logging, and 4 tariff schedules.

Selection Notes

The METSEPM5310 steps up from the PM5110 with 31st-harmonic analysis, two-way digital I/O instead of one output, and 256 kB of on-meter data logging for active and reactive energy, so it fits sub-billing applications with multiple tariff schedules. It still takes conventional CT inputs; where a 3-in-1 RJ45 current transducer is preferred for busbar monitoring, the METSEPM5310R is the matching variant.
