- Description
The Schneider Electric LV434020 is a PowerTag Energy M250 wireless energy sensor for 3P circuits up to 250 A, built with a Monoconnect form factor for direct mounting on the bottom of Compact NSX 100/160/250, Compact NS 100/160/250, and TeSys GV5/GV7 circuit breakers. It measures active and reactive energy, power, current, voltage and power factor to IEC 61557-12, and relays the readings over its built-in 2.4 GHz radio to a PowerTag-compatible concentrator or gateway for circuit-level monitoring.

Selection Notes
Choosing between the 250 A M250 and its sibling current rating comes down to the breaker frame it mounts on: this sensor only fits Compact NSX 100/160/250, Compact NS 100/160/250, and TeSys GV5/GV7, so the breaker's own rated current — not the circuit's actual load — determines which PowerTag model is correct. This 3P variant covers balanced three-phase circuits without a monitored neutral conductor; where the installation needs neutral current or energy data as well, the 3P+N version of the same M250 sensor is the one to specify. The basic current (Ib) of 40 A sets the lower bound for accurate Class 1 metering; below that, readings fall outside the IEC 61557-12 accuracy class.
