- Description
The Schneider Electric G40-80UVR240AC is an MN undervoltage release for GoPact MCCB 400 and 800 moulded case circuit breakers, with a 240 V AC 50/60 Hz control circuit voltage. It opens the breaker once the supply voltage falls below 35% of Un and only permits closing again once the supply recovers above 85% of Un.

Selection Notes
Unlike the MX shunt trip, the MN release trips automatically on loss of control voltage, so it is the right choice where a dropped control supply must itself open the breaker (safety circuits, fire interlocks) rather than relying on a separate command. Between 0.35 and 0.7 x Un the opening behaviour is not guaranteed, so treat that band as unreliable for protection studies and size the control supply to stay above 0.7 x Un in normal operation. Confirm the 240 V AC coil matches the switchboard control voltage - GoPact MCCB also offers this release at the alternate AC rating.
