The Schneider Electric G40-80SHT415AC is an MX shunt trip release for GoPact MCCB 400 and 800 moulded case circuit breakers, with a 415 V AC 50/60 Hz control circuit voltage. Energising the coil above 70% of its rated voltage opens the breaker on remote command, with a maximum response time of 17 ms.

Selection Notes

The MX release only opens the breaker when commanded - it does not hold the breaker closed, so loss of control supply does not trip it (an MN undervoltage release is the right choice where a dropped control supply must itself open the breaker). Match the 415 V AC coil to the control circuit before wiring; GoPact MCCB also offers this release at the alternate AC voltage, so confirm 415 V AC against the switchboard's control supply before ordering. A 17 ms response time is fast enough for remote emergency-stop or fire-interlock tripping circuits.
