The Schneider Electric G40-80AUX240 is a clip-on auxiliary contact for GoPact MCCB 400 and 800 moulded case circuit breakers, rated 240 V AC. It carries a single common-point changeover (1 NO/NC) contact that reports the breaker's open/closed position (OF) and fault-trip condition (SD) for remote indication, interlocking or relay control.

Selection Notes

OF signals the breaker's mechanical contact position while SD signals that it tripped on an electrical fault, a shunt-trip command or an undervoltage condition - wiring both into a PLC or panel annunciator distinguishes a planned open from a protective trip without a site visit. The 10 A thermal current at 240 V AC drives a relay coil or indicator lamp directly. It clips inside the breaker and arrives pre-wired with a 500 mm, 0.5 mm² cable, so no separate wiring kit is needed at installation.
