The 5 kW / 16.6A rating and Booksize frame put this Smart Line Module at the lower-power end of the S120 modular line-up; for higher DC-link current draw from multiple Motor Modules on the same bus, the next Smart Line Module size up in the same frame family is needed. As a Smart Line Module rather than an Active or Basic Line Module, it feeds regenerated braking energy back to the supply line at a 0.65-0.90 total power factor, which matters when duty cycles involve frequent braking.
