The Siemens 6SL3055-0AA00-5HA3 is a SINAMICS SME25 external sensor module for an EnDat absolute encoder with sin/cos 1 Vpp signals and a 100 kBaud SSI baud rate, rated IP67. It connects through a 17-pin M23 circular connector, draws 0.11 A at 24 V DC, and supports DRIVE-CLiQ cable runs up to 100 m to the drive control and 3 m to the measuring system; it is supplied without a DRIVE-CLiQ cable.

Selection Notes

Choose the SME25 over the sin/cos-only SME20 when the application needs absolute position on power-up. The EnDat interface reports position over SSI at 100 kBaud instead of requiring a reference move. The 17-pin M23 connector, versus the SME20's 12-pin, reflects the extra EnDat data lines.
