Selection Notes

Use the SMC10 when the motor feedback device is a resolver rather than a sin/cos or EnDat encoder. The SME-series sensor modules in the S120 line-up are built for encoder feedback instead, so they are not interchangeable with a resolver-equipped motor. Confirm which feedback device is fitted to the motor before ordering, since mixing up a resolver-based motor with an encoder-only sensor module will leave the drive without valid position feedback.
