Schneider Electric TPRBCEIP TeSys Island TPRBC 24V DC EtherNet/IP Bus Coupler PLC Communication Module

The Schneider Electric TPRBCEIP is a TeSys island bus coupler (device short name TPRBC) supplied at 24 V DC, 3 A maximum, providing two EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP fieldbus ports plus a service port for the automation controller connection. It manages the complete TeSys island configuration of up to 20 modules from the leftmost DIN-rail position.

Selection Notes

As the leftmost module in a TeSys island configuration, the TPRBCEIP is the single point of connection between the automation controller and up to 20 downstream starter and I/O modules over EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP. Its 3 A / 24 V DC supply powers the entire island through one connection point rather than powering each module individually. The embedded web server and micro SD card port support diagnostics and configuration backup without a separate engineering tool session. Choose this EtherNet/IP-and-Modbus TCP variant when the automation controller runs one of those protocols; a Profinet IO version of this bus coupler covers Profinet-based architectures instead.
