- Description
The Schneider Electric SSP1A475M7T is a Harmony SSP1 single-phase solid state relay rated 75 A, panel mounted with a supplied thermal pad. It switches a 48-660 V AC load from a 90-280 V AC control input using zero-voltage switching, with a 25 ms turn-on and 30 ms turn-off response time and no mechanical contacts to wear.

Selection Notes
With a 90-280 V AC control input, the SSP1A475M7T is the variant for panels where the control signal comes from line-voltage logic, a PLC AC output or a thermostat rather than low-voltage DC; the BDT-suffix variant in the same SSP1 range takes a 4-32 V DC input instead. Zero-voltage switching turns the SCR on only as the load waveform crosses zero, which limits inrush-related electrical noise and is the reason this relay is specified over a mechanical contactor for resistive heating loads that switch frequently. The 75 A rating and supplied thermal pad size the heatsink interface for continuous duty at rated current; derate the load current for higher ambient or reduced heatsink area.
Applications
Used to switch resistive heating elements, single-phase motor loads and other high-cycle AC loads from line-voltage AC control signals without contact wear.
