Selection Notes
SSD1A320BDC1 switches loads up to 2.24 kW/3 hp at 480 V AC; step up to the 35 A SSD1 relay in the same range when higher motor power is needed in the same 22.5 mm DIN rail footprint. Zero-voltage switching turns the SCR on only at the AC waveform's zero crossing, which limits inrush-related EMI compared with random-turn-on switching - relevant when driving resistive heating loads. The 4-32 V DC control input takes a PLC discrete output directly without an interposing relay.
