Schneider Electric PAS600 EcoStruxure Panel Server Universal Wireless Concentrator Communication Gateway

The Schneider Electric PAS600 EcoStruxure Panel Server is a universal gateway that connects wired Modbus devices and wireless PowerTag sensors to edge software or cloud applications. It bridges up to 32 Modbus RTU and 128 Modbus TCP/IP devices, plus up to 85 wireless IEEE 802.15.4 devices, over dual Ethernet, RS485 and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, powered from a 110-277 V AC/DC supply.

Selection Notes

The PAS600 is the entry-level Panel Server: a Modbus/wireless gateway with real-time monitoring web pages but no onboard long-term data logger, which keeps it suited to switchboards where measurements only need to reach a PME, BMS or SCADA system rather than be stored locally. Its 110-277 V AC/DC supply fits standard auxiliary circuits; the PAS600L variant is the same gateway built for a 24 V DC control bus instead. Step up to the PAS800 when three years of onboard historical trending and dashboarding is needed on the device itself.
