The Schneider Electric NTSNSC1200K is a Modicon Edge I/O NTS network interface module kit that bridges the NTS I/O cluster to a Sercos III motion network, pre-assembled on its NTSXBA0201H base with NTSXMP0000H termination. Two switched, isolated RJ45 ports support line-interactive or ring topologies at 100 Mbit/s, covering a -20...60 degC operating range. It is compatible with the Modicon M262 and PacDrive 3 ranges.

The NTSNSC1200K is the head module for Sercos III motion networks, the correct choice when the NTS I/O cluster feeds a PacDrive 3 or Modicon M262-based motion system rather than a general EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP network, where the NTSNEC1200K/HK would be used instead. Line-interactive or ring topology support keeps the I/O bus operational if one network segment is interrupted. The 100 Mbit/s rate matches the real-time cycle requirements of Sercos III motion control.
