The Schneider Electric NTSNEC1200HK is a Modicon Edge I/O NTS network interface module kit that bridges up to 32 addressable I/O modules to EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP, pre-assembled on its NTSXBA0301H base with NTSXMP0000H termination for severe-environment use. Two switched, isolated RJ45 ports support daisy-chain, star or ring (RSTP) topologies at 10/100 Mbit/s, running across an extended -40...70 degC range with conformal-coated electronics.

The NTSNEC1200HK is the head module of an NTS cluster, converting the EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP network into the NTS I/O bus that addresses up to 32 downstream discrete, analog, temperature or relay modules. The hardened build's conformal coating and -40...70 degC range are the reason to choose it over the standard NTSNEC1200K in panels exposed to vibration, condensation or wide ambient swings. For a Sercos III motion network instead of EtherNet/IP, the NTSNSC1200K is the matching network interface.
