The Schneider Electric LV847894SP is an MCH electric motor mechanism supplied as a field-replacement spare part for MasterPact MTZ2 and MTZ3 air circuit breakers, built for remote operation on a 200-240 V AC 50/60 Hz control supply. It charges the breaker's closing springs in 4 s or less. It mounts on fixed MasterPact MTZ2/MTZ3 breakers.

Selection Notes

Choose the LV847894SP over the 100-130 V or 250-277 V spares when the MTZ2/MTZ3 breaker's control circuit is 200-240 V AC; fitting the wrong voltage spare will not charge the mechanism correctly. Charging time is up to 4 s, matching the rest of the MTZ2/MTZ3 MCH family. The limit switch contact (240 V, 10 A) can be wired back to a panel indicator to confirm the springs are charged before a remote close command is issued. Replacing it restores full remote-close capability after a mechanism failure.
