The Schneider Electric LV847893SP is an MCH electric motor mechanism supplied as a field-replacement spare part for MasterPact MTZ2 and MTZ3 air circuit breakers, built for remote operation on a 100-130 V AC 50/60 Hz control supply. It charges the breaker's closing springs in 4 s or less. It mounts on fixed MasterPact MTZ2/MTZ3 breakers.

Selection Notes

Order the LV847893SP to replace a failed MCH motor mechanism on an MTZ2 or MTZ3 breaker already in service at 100-130 V AC control voltage; the equivalent 200-240 V and 250-277 V spares exist for other control circuits. The MTZ2/MTZ3 mechanism charges in up to 4 s, a second longer than the MTZ1 version, reflecting the larger spring assembly in the bigger frame. It ships with an instruction sheet for the field swap. Replacing it restores full remote-close capability after a mechanism failure.
