The Schneider Electric LV847398 is an MCH electric motor mechanism for fixed MasterPact MTZ1 air circuit breakers, built for remote operation on a 277-415 V AC 50/60 Hz control supply. It automatically charges the breaker's closing springs in 3 s or less, enabling remote closing without a manual charging handle.

Selection Notes

The LV847398 is the highest-voltage MCH option for the MTZ1 frame, covering 277-415 V AC control circuits where the lower 100-130 V and 200-240 V variants do not apply. It is fixed-mount only. Because overcurrent protection trips the motor circuit at 2-3 x In within 0.1 s, a motor that stalls mid-charge is disconnected quickly rather than left drawing fault current. The same 3 s charging time and 240 V, 10 A limit switch contact apply as on the lower-voltage MTZ1 variants, so remote-close sequencing logic carries over unchanged.
