The Schneider Electric LV847396 is an MCH electric motor mechanism for fixed MasterPact MTZ1 air circuit breakers, built for remote operation on a 200-240 V AC 50/60 Hz control supply. It automatically charges the breaker's closing springs in 3 s or less, enabling remote closing without a manual charging handle.

Selection Notes

Use the LV847396 when the control panel supplies 200-240 V AC rather than the 100-130 V or 277-415 V bands covered by the other MTZ1 MCH variants; fitting the wrong voltage band means the motor will not charge the springs correctly. It mounts on fixed MasterPact MTZ1 breakers only. The built-in limit switch contact (240 V, 10 A) can feed a remote closed/charged indication back to the control system, and the 3 s charging time sets the minimum interval between a trip and the breaker being ready to close again remotely.
