The HMISBC is a bare rear controller, it has no display of its own and is designed to pair with a separate Harmony SCU front display module to form a complete HMI-plus-controller pair. It carries the same 8 DI / 8 DO / 4 AI / 2 AO I/O set and CANopen/Modbus TCP/IP connectivity as the all-in-one HMISCU6B5, so specify it when the front module needs to be sourced or replaced independently of the controller electronics. At 0.398 kg it is also the lightest unit in this SCU family comparison.
