Selection Notes

The stainless steel 304 front and NEMA 4X rating set the HMIGTO2315 apart from plastic-front panels: choose it for washdown areas, food and beverage lines, or corrosive environments where a painted or polycarbonate bezel would corrode or discolor. The Ethernet RJ45 port supports Modbus TCP to a PLC alongside the legacy RS232C/RS485 serial ports, so it bridges older serial-only controllers and newer Ethernet-based automation without a protocol gateway. At 320 x 240 QVGA, the screen suits status, alarm, and simple parameter display rather than dense multi-trend graphing; a Harmony ET6 panel is the better fit where a larger, higher-resolution screen is needed instead of a stainless, washdown-rated front.
