- Description
The Schneider Electric C080S4NAFM is a 4-pole ComPacT NS800 NA switch disconnector rated 800 A (Ie, AC-23A) with a 690 V AC operational voltage and an Ith conventional thermal current of 800 A at 60 °C. It is fixed-mounted, front-connected at both ends, and manually operated for isolating distribution circuits; it carries no interrupting (Icu) rating of its own.

Selection Notes
As an NA-coded device, the C080S4NAFM carries no interrupting (Icu) rating of its own, so it isolates the circuit but does not break fault current; it must be paired with separate overcurrent protection upstream or downstream. Its 800 A Ie/Ith matches the equivalent-frame NS800 circuit breakers in the same case size, so it can fill the same enclosure footprint as a maintenance isolator, bypass switch, or non-automatic main disconnect. Its 52 kA Icm short-circuit making capacity means it can be closed onto a live fault without the contacts welding shut, a property required of a switch used as a line-side or load-side disconnect rather than a simple load break switch. The 4-pole version switches the neutral as well as the three phases; the 3-pole version leaves the neutral solid.
