Use the BMXNOM0200 to add two independent serial ports to a Modicon X80/M340 rack for Modbus RTU/ASCII master-slave links or raw character-mode communication with third-party serial devices. Running a port in character mode instead of Modbus hands the application full control of the byte stream for non-Modbus protocols.
