The Siemens 6GT2600-4AB00 is an MDS D460 pill-shaped transponder for the RF200, RF300 and MOBY D read/write systems, a 16 x 3 mm PPS body with a Fujitsu MB89R118 chip built for ISO 15693 operation at 13.56 MHz and 2000 bytes of FRAM user memory. FRAM gives it up to 1E+12 write cycles, far beyond the EEPROM-based transponders in this series, and it carries an IP67/IPx9K rating.

The FRAM chip is what sets the 6GT2600-4AB00 apart from the EEPROM-based buttons and labels in this series: 1E+12 write cycles versus the 100000-cycle rating on the MDS D1xx/D3xx parts, so it fits processes that rewrite the same tag on every cycle rather than writing once and reading many times. Its 2000-byte capacity is also the largest in the family, well beyond the 992 bytes on the MDS D324/D339 buttons. At 16 mm diameter and 10 mm minimum metal clearance, it is smaller and needs less standoff than the MDS D339, trading top-end temperature range (85 C read/write, 100 C outside) for size and write endurance.
