The Siemens 6GT2600-0AC10 is an MDS D124 transponder for the RF200, RF300 and MOBY D read/write systems, built for ISO 15693 operation at 13.56 MHz with 112 bytes of EEPROM user memory. Its PPS housing withstands continuous temperatures up to 100 C and short excursions to 180 C outside the read/write zone, with IP68/IPx9K sealing for washdown and harsh-environment mounting.

The 180 C outside-zone rating and IECEx marking (Ex ia IIC T6 to T3 Ga / Ex tD A22 IIIC T80 to T180 Da) separate the 6GT2600-0AC10 from the standard-range button transponders in the MDS D1xx line: it holds up on fixtures that pass through a paint bake, cure oven, or other heat step, and it is rated for mounting inside classified hazardous areas. Where the mount point sits within 15 mm of metal, the recommended clearance applies to keep read range consistent; on non-metal fixtures the transponder can sit closer. For processes that never see temperatures above 100 C and do not need Ex approval, the lower-cost standard-range button in this series is the better fit.
