This 10 m length covers longer runs between the reader and the RF120C module than the 5 m variant, without exceeding the 200 N tensile rating when routed through a drag chain. Choose the shorter cable when the reader mounts within a few meters of the module, since excess slack in a fixed installation adds no benefit and increases loop resistance along the RS422 line.
