The ASM 475 accepts two reader connections per module, so it consolidates two MOBY or RF200/300 read points onto one S7-300 or ET200M slot instead of using two single-reader modules. Its 0...+60 degrees C operating range is narrower than many S7-300 peripheral modules, so panel ambient temperature needs checking before it is placed next to heat-generating equipment. It ships without the front connector, which is a separate accessory required before wiring the reader and supply connections.
