At 38 Ah this is the largest battery in the BAT1600 line, more than five times the 7.5 Ah lithium module's capacity, and floor mounting rather than DIN rail or wall mounting reflects its 27.9 kg weight. The 40 A rated output matches the highest-current SITOP UPS1600 units, and the 9 A max charging current is the highest in the BAT1600 range, letting the battery recharge faster after a deep buffering event. Service life falls off faster with heat than the lithium variants: 10 years at 20 degrees C but only 1.25 years at 50 degrees C.
