As with the smaller model, outputs 1-2 and 3-4 can be paralleled via DIP switch when one branch needs more than 10 A, up to the 960 W system total. The same PROFINET/OPC UA interface reports per-output voltage, current, and DC-OK state, so branch-level diagnostics scale up without adding wiring as the machine's power budget grows. Choose this model over the 4x5 A 8436 variant when connected loads regularly draw more than 5 A per branch; choose the single-output 40 A PSU8600 model instead if the installation does not need four independently supervised circuits.
