Siemens 6EP1935-5PG01 SITOP UPS501S 5 kWs Capacitor Expansion Module DC UPS Module

The Siemens 6EP1935-5PG01 is a SITOP UPS501S expansion module that adds 5 kWs of capacitor-based energy storage to a SITOP UPS500S or UPS501S DC UPS system. It has no independent input or output rating of its own, mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail, and plugs directly into the UPS module via its output connection system, in an IP20, Class III enclosure.

Selection Notes

This module only extends stored energy capacity for a SITOP UPS500S/UPS501S front-end; it does not connect directly to line power or a load on its own, so it must be paired with a UPS500S or UPS501S base unit rated for it. Use it where the base UPS module's onboard buffering is not enough to ride through the required bridging time at full load.

Applications

Fits SITOP DC UPS installations protecting PLCs, drives, or control panels against short mains interruptions, where the standard UPS500S/UPS501S buffering time needs to be extended without adding a battery-based module.
