The 15.4-inch widescreen with 1280x800 resolution gives more room for complex mimic screens than the smaller Comfort panels in the same TP/KTP family — pick it when a project's screen layout needs the extra width rather than a compact footprint. Two Industrial Ethernet ports wired as a 2-port switch let it be daisy-chained into a PROFINET line without an external switch. The combined RS 485/422 interface plus MPI/PROFIBUS DP keeps it usable on legacy S7-300 systems as well as PROFINET-only S7-1500 lines, which narrows the gap versus PROFINET-only Comfort variants.
