Key 455 release restricts who can reset the circuit after an emergency stop to whoever holds the matching key, which the turn-to-release XB5AS8442 does not: any operator can clear that one by hand. This suits a machine where a stop event needs a deliberate, authorized reset step, for example after a safety investigation, rather than an immediate restart by anyone nearby. The single NC contact carries positive opening per IEC 60947-5-1 Appendix K, opening mechanically even on a welded contact, meeting ISO 13850's requirement for a dependable stop signal.
