The 3-position action adds a center or off-like state between the two active positions, letting the lit green handle mark a safe/running condition at either end rather than a single on/off choice as on the 2-position XB5AK123B5. The integral LED still gives a clear confirmation of which of the three positions is selected in dim control rooms. The 24 V AC/DC supply suits a 24 V control bus; choose the XB5AK133M5 variant for a 230 V AC lighting circuit.
