The Schneider Electric XB5AK124B5 is a Harmony XB5 illuminated selector switch with a red standard handle, a maintained (stay-put) 2-position 90° action, and a 1NO+1NC contact block. The integral universal LED runs from a 24 V AC/DC supply (19.2-30 V DC or 21.6-26.4 V AC), drawing 18 mA.

Selection Notes

Red follows IEC 60073 colour coding for an abnormal, fault, or caution state, making it the usual choice for an illuminated mode selector that must stand out, for example a bypass or override position on an automated line. The integral LED adds a lit confirmation of which position is active, which a plain red handle alone would not give in a dim control room. The 24 V AC/DC rated supply suits a 24 V control bus; choose the XB5AK124M5 variant for a 230 V AC lighting circuit instead.
