Selection Notes
The 'O' legend is the IEC 60417 symbol for off, reinforcing the red stop function already indicated by the normally-closed contact and the bezel colour. The positive-opening mechanism conforming to IEC 60947-5-1 Appendix K forces the NC contact to separate mechanically even if the contacts have welded, a property any stop or interlock circuit relies on. Prefer this marked head over the plain XB5AA42 where the control scheme or local regulation calls for an explicit off symbol rather than colour coding alone.
