- Description
The Schneider Electric XB4BW73731B5 is a Harmony XB4 illuminated double-headed push button combining a green flush 'I' start button, a red projecting 'O' stop button and a central white pilot light in one 22.5 mm cutout, supplied at 24 V AC/DC. Both heads share a 1 NO + 1 NC contact block wired through screw-clamp terminals, and the metal-bezel body carries IP66, IP69 and IP69K protection.

Selection Notes
The XB4BW73731B5 puts a start and a stop function in a single 22.5 mm cutout, which is the main reason to specify it over two separate XB4 heads: panel space on a compact operator station is often the limiting factor, not the contact rating. The green 'I' head is flush-mounted and the red 'O' head projects, so the two remain distinguishable by touch as well as by colour and marking, and the central white pilot light runs from the same 24 V AC/DC supply to confirm machine state without a third panel cutout. Because the 1 NO + 1 NC contact set is shared across the assembly, check the control circuit design before assuming each head gets its own independent pair of contacts.
Applications
Fitted to compact operator stations and machine control panels where a start/stop pair with built-in status indication must share a single 22 mm cutout, on circuits supplied at 24 V AC/DC.
