Schneider Electric XB4BS8445 Harmony XB4 Red Mushroom 40 mm Turn to Release 1NO+1NC Emergency Stop Push Button

The Schneider Electric XB4BS8445 is a Harmony XB4 emergency stop push button with a 40 mm red mushroom head and a metal bezel. Pressing it mechanically latches the 1NO+1NC contact block open until the operator clears it by turning it to release, and the sealed body carries IP66, IP67, IP69 and IP69K protection for installation in a standard 22.5 mm panel cutout.

The XB4BS8445 resets only by turning it to release: the mushroom head latches mechanically on impact and will not reset itself, so the circuit stays open until someone deliberately clears it — that distinction matters when deciding who on the line is authorized to restart the machine. Its 1NO+1NC contact configuration sets how many circuits the e-stop can interrupt directly versus how many need to run through a safety relay. The 40 mm mushroom profile keeps the button reachable and visible at a distance, and the IP66/IP67/IP69/IP69K sealing means wash-down or outdoor mounting does not compromise the latching mechanism.
