The XB4BP42 pairs a red projecting head with a spring return mechanism, so the button pops back out as soon as it is released and does not hold a latched state — pick it for momentary start/stop commands rather than mode selection. The 1NC contact block determines which circuit function it can drive: the 1NC version opens the circuit on actuation, making it the default choice for a stop command. The clear boot over the body keeps the IP66/IP67/IP69/IP69K rating intact in wash-down areas, and the 0.082 kg metal body with Zamak fixing collar outlasts plastic XB5 equivalents under repeated high-pressure cleaning cycles.
