Schneider Electric VW3M3403 Lexium 32 Analog Encoder Interface Module Servo Drive Accessory

The Schneider Electric VW3M3403 is an analog encoder interface module for the Lexium 32 servo drive, giving a Lexium 32M drive an analog-signal encoder feedback input. It supports 1 Vpp, 1 Vpp/Hall and Hiperface encoder types through a single high-definition 15-pin SUB-D connector, with a 5 V or 12 V supply depending on the protocol in use.

The VW3M3403 is the analog-feedback option in the Lexium 32 encoder-interface family, reading 1 Vpp, 1 Vpp/Hall or Hiperface signals where the digital card (VW3M3402) handles BiSS/EnDat/SSI and the VW3M3401 handles resolvers. Supply voltage is set by the encoder type connected - 5 V for 1 Vpp and 1 Vpp/Hall, 12 V for Hiperface - matched to the servo motor's encoder datasheet before wiring.
