The VW3M3402 covers digital encoder feedback in the Lexium 32 encoder-interface family, handling BiSS, EnDat 2.2, A/B/I and SSI protocols on a single card instead of the resolver (VW3M3401) or analog (VW3M3403) variants. Supply voltage follows the protocol selected - 5 V for BiSS, EnDat 2.2 and A/B/I, 12 V for SSI - so the motor's encoder datasheet determines which supply mode the card is configured for.
