Schneider Electric VW3M3308 Lexium 32 PROFINET Fieldbus Module Servo Drive Accessory

The Schneider Electric VW3M3308 is a PROFINET fieldbus module for the Lexium 32 servo drive range, giving the Lexium 32M drive a PROFINET RT communication port. It connects through two RJ45 ports for daisy-chain wiring, running at 10 Mbit/s or 100 Mbit/s and addressing up to 256 nodes, with four LEDs reporting communication status at the drive.

The VW3M3308 fits the PROFINET communication slot on Lexium 32M drives, adding a PROFINET RT network port where the base drive only offers its native fieldbus-free interface. The two RJ45 ports allow line-topology daisy-chaining between adjacent drives on the same PROFINET segment, and the four-LED display gives local link and status diagnostics without opening commissioning software.
