Schneider Electric RUMC21B7 Harmony RUM 10A 2CO 24V AC Universal Plug-In Relay

The Schneider Electric RUMC21B7 is a Harmony RUM series universal plug-in relay with 2 C/O contacts rated 10 A and a 24 V AC 50/60 Hz control coil. A lockable test button allows manual actuation during commissioning, and cylindrical pin contacts made of AgNi carry up to 250 V AC or 28 V DC.

Selection Notes

The RUMC21B7's cylindrical pins, rather than flat faston-type blades, are what qualify it as a universal-footprint relay: it drops into sockets built around the round-pin standard as well as octal bases. At 10 A/250 V AC on both C/O contacts, it switches contactor coils and small motor loads directly from the 24 V AC control loop. The lockable test button covers manual trip/reset during panel checkout without pulling the relay from its socket. B10d = 100,000 at up to 1200 cycles/hour under load sizes it for control-duty switching rather than continuous high-frequency cycling.
