- Description
The Schneider Electric RSB1A160JD is a Harmony RSB series interface plug-in relay with a single C/O contact rated 16 A and an 8.4-18 V DC control coil centered on 12 V. Flat PCB-type pins mount it into a compatible socket, and its silver-alloy contacts switch up to 4000 VA at 250 V AC or 28 V DC.

Selection Notes
The 12 V DC coil and 8.4-18 V DC pull-in window make the RSB1A160JD the interface relay to use when a PLC output card or a 12 V control transformer drives the coil directly, instead of stepping up to 24 V. Its single C/O contact carries the full 16 A rating on the NO side and 8 A on the NC side (both AC-1/DC-1), so it can switch a contactor coil or indicator load without a downstream fuse just for the relay. The PCB-type flat pin, rather than a faston blade, is what keeps this footprint compact for high-density terminal blocks. B10d = 100,000 at up to 600 cycles/hour under load sizes it for control-loop switching, not motor-duty cycling.
