- Description
The Schneider Electric BSH0703P11F2A is a Lexium 05 series low-inertia servo motor rated for 2.8 N·m continuous stall torque at 3000 rpm on a 70 mm flange, with an integrated 3 N·m holding brake. It runs on a 480 V three-phase supply, pairs with LXM05, LXM15, or LXM32 drives, and uses a keyed shaft with a single-turn SinCos Hiperface encoder.

Selection Notes
The BSH0703P11F2A's 3 N·m holding brake is almost 3x its own 2.8 N·m continuous torque rating, making it comparatively stronger relative to motor output than the brakes on the BSH0701F2A or BSH0702F2A — a useful margin on an axis carrying an overhauling load. It draws 12 W to release. Continuous stall current is the highest in the 70 mm BSH line at 4.1 A, so check drive current headroom before substituting it for a BSH0701 or BSH0702 on an existing LXM05/LXM15/LXM32 setup. The single-turn SinCos Hiperface (P11) encoder reports absolute shaft position on power-up, so the axis does not need a dedicated homing move before the first cycle.
