- Description
The Schneider Electric BCH18MR3013CA6C is a 3000 W Easy Lexium 18 (BCH18) servo motor rated for 19.1 N·m continuous stall torque at 1500 rpm nominal speed. It mounts on a 180 mm Asian standard flange, draws 18.9 A continuous stall current from a 220 V supply, and ships without a holding brake and carries a 23 bits optic multi turn encoder. The IP67-rated motor pairs with the Lexium 18 (LXM18) servo drive family.

Selection Notes
At 19.1 N·m continuous stall torque and 18.9 A continuous current, the BCH18MR3013CA6C fits light-to-medium load axes inside the 180 mm flange frame; the 55.4 N·m peak stall torque only covers brief acceleration, not sustained running. The multi-turn optic encoder tracks absolute position across several shaft revolutions, so the axis does not need a reference move after every power cycle. There is no holding brake on this variant, so it suits horizontal axes where the load cannot drift under gravity when power drops; a braked sibling in the same frame covers vertical or overhanging loads. The 1.5 kW BCH18 variant in the smaller 130 mm frame is the option when the axis does not need 3.0 kW of continuous power.
Applications
Within the Lexium 18 line, the BCH18MR3013CA6C is sized for higher-inertia indexing axes, winding and cutting stations, and conveyor or palletizing drives where the larger frame and current rating absorb more load without derating. Its 180 mm flange and 3000 W continuous rating keep it in the same mechanical footprint as its sibling motors, so an LXM18 drive sized for this power level can be reused across the family without a mechanical redesign.
